Please see below a Notice from the Head Electoral Officer for the New CHN Election Dates. There will also be an option for Online Voting. If you have any questions, contact Grace Garvie, Head Electoral Officer, her contact information is at the bottom of the notice.
In accordance with the Constitution of the Haida Nation and the CHN Election Act, the voting citizens of the Haida Nation shall select Representatives for the Council of the Haida Nation one (1) President, one (1) Vice-President and four (4) Representatives from each of HlGaagilda Skidegate and Gaw Tlagée Old Massett, and two (2) Representatives from each of T’agwan Vancouver and Kxeen Prince Rupert through a General Election scheduled for December 7, 2024. HlGaagilda Skidegate Representative are acclaimed to office.
