HaiCo Scholarship Program Announced April 2017

The Haida Enterprise Corporation (HaiCo) has established a scholarship program in 2013 for eligible Haida and Haida Gwaii students with an annual value of up to $5000 for 5 awards of $1000 each.

Eligibility:  These awards are available to qualified post-secondary students of Haida ancestry or resident on Haida Gwaii

Qualifications:  Students must be pursuing studies in an accredited institution leading to a certificate, diploma or degree.

Applications: Applicants must provide the following:

  • Your contact details including email address, phone and mailing address
  • Name of educational institution and details and dates of course of study
  • A letter or other document from the educational institution showing you have or will be enrolled in a course of study outlined above
  • A two-page (500 word maximum) statement on how your studies will contribute to Haida Gwaii or HaiCo’s business interests.
  • A copy of your most recent educational transcript.

Applications will be accepted at any time and awards made by July and November 1 annually.
