TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME EMPOLYMENT OPPORTUNITY – Director of Operations
Maternity Leave Coverage (12-18 months)

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Operations fulfills a key leadership role responsible for overseeing various administrative operations of Haida Child & Family (HCF), while also leading high-priority special projects that align with the organizations strategic goals. This role ensures smooth operations across departments and manages organizational assets. The Director will also drive special projects from initiation to completion, focusing on initiatives that reflect Haida culture and values, and support organizational growth and community engagement

Pursuant to s. 41 of the BC Human Rights Code, preference may be given to qualified applicants of Indigenous ancestry.

Hours: Full time (35 hours/week)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.
  • Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives and managing change.

Location: Gaw Tlagée Old Massett or HlGaagilda Skidegate

Wage: $62.67/hour
