As per the CHN Election Act, the Hereditary Chiefs Council has appointed Grace Garvie as the Head Electoral Officer for the 2024 CHN Election. Grace will provide further communications with citizens regarding Election Act deadlines.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Haida Nation and the CHN Election Act, the voting citizens of the Haida Nation shall select Representatives for the Council of the Haida Nation one (1) President, one (1) Vice-President and four (4) Representatives from each of HlGaagilda Skidegate and Gaw Tlagée Old Massett, and two (2) Representatives from each of T’agwan Vancouver and Kxeen Prince Rupert through a General Election scheduled for December 7, 2024. HlGaagilda Skidegate Representative are acclaimed to office.
