Xaayda laas, this bulletin is to notify Haida citizens and citizens of Haida Gwaii that we have received a self-reported case of COVID-19 on the Islands. “Self-reported” means that one of our good people have notified our officials that they have tested positive for COVID-19.
We have also received reports from community members who have been notified of possible exposure and are self-isolating.

If you have any symptoms, you should phone the Northern COVID-19 online clinic that will refer you for testing if appropriate. Call 811 or *Northern Health’s Online Clinic: 1.844.645.7811 * Online clinic hours: Monday – Friday: 12pm – 8pm; weekends & stats 8am – 4pm |
At this time, everyone must use extreme care, kindness and caution. Continue to observe the Haida Gwaii State of Emergency COVID-19 measures: respect physical distancing, wash your hands before and after touching your face.
Circles of Care are set-up in each community for any person(s) and / or their families if they test positive. Contact the Emergency Operation Centres to access circles of care or to self-report a case.
