The Haida Marine Work Group (HMWG) is tasked with the responsibility of identifying Haida priorities to inform marine planning processes occurring in Haida Gwaii waters. This includes the implementation of various marine plans and marine shipping and safety initiatives, and other marine-related topics.

All Haida citizens are eligible to apply for appointment to HMWG. Haida citizens residing both on and off Haida Gwaii will be considered.
