CHN has confirmed presence of live European Green Crab in Dal Káahlii (see map below). In total, 350 traps have been deployed and 8 Green Crab have been caught. CHN will be working with contractors to conduct a rapid response effort from July 21-25. Many traps will be deployed at once in an attempt to deplete Green Crab from this important estuary.
