PUBLIC NOTICE: NORTH END BEACHES REMAIN CLOSED

The harvesting of ALL bivalves (mussels, razor clams, butter clams, scallops, etc.) from Rose Spit to Wiah Pt. remains closed until further notice.

Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP) toxin levels continue to rise and there have been several confirmed cases of poisoning.

Haida Fisheries will continue to send samples to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for testing and will put out notices when bivalves are open to harvest again.
