Job Summary

The Intake Worker supports admissions into a Haida-centred second-stage recovery home in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. This role is responsible for coordinating intakes, completing assessments, and welcoming individuals into the program in a way that reflects Haida values.

The Intake Worker plays a key role in supporting safe, intentional transitions into recovery housing by assessing readiness, clarifying expectations, and ensuring continuity of care.


Peer Support/Housing Support Worker

Position Type: Full-time, 4-on-3-off 12 hr shifts

Wage: $26/hr.

Job Summary

The Peer Support / Housing Support Worker supports adults living in a culturally grounded, second stage recovery and supportive housing program. This role helps create a warm, safe, and respectful home environment that fosters stability, connection, accountability, and community. The position provides day-to-day relational support, assists residents with communal living, and responds to crises and emergencies as needed. This is a fast-paced, emotionally demanding role requiring strong boundaries, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Shifts may be 8–12 hours.


Kitchen & Garden Coordinator

Position Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Wage: $26.00/hr

About the Role

The Kitchen & Garden Coordinator supports the daily wellness, nutrition, and cultural connection of adults living in a Haida-centred second-stage recovery home. This role prepares nourishing, home style meals, cares for on-site garden spaces, and helps create a welcoming kitchen environment that supports healing, routine, and independence in recovery.
