Continuation of the House of Assembly
X̲aaydaGa ‘láa isis | X̲aadáa ‘láaisis Good people,
The Council of the Haida Nation is grateful for the high level of attendance and engagement at the 2025 House of Assembly.
Due to the amount of important dialogue and interest in the work of the nation, we were unable to complete the agenda within the initial timeframe. The continuation of the event was postponed out of respect for the recent loss within the community.
The 2025 House of Assembly is scheduled to continue on November 24-26 from 9:30am-4:30pm at the Kwiiyaans Community Hall in G̲aw Tlagée.
CHN has also reserved the hall for November 27 if an additional day is needed to complete the agenda.
The decision to host this event during daytime hours was made with everyone’s safety in mind as we move into the colder and darker season.
The Resolutions Committee is close to finalizing the meeting package. CHN will announce online when packages are available to be picked up.
