PUBLIC UPDATE
NORTH END BEACHES REMAIN CLOSED AS TOXIN LEVELS REMAIN HIGH
The harvesting of ALL bivalves (mussels, razor clams, butter clams, scallops, etc.) from Rose Spit to Wiah Pt. remains closed until further notice.

Haida Fisheries will continue to send weekly samples to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for testing and will put out notices when bivalves are open to harvest again.

Yakoun River and the Awun River will be closed for the season. Effective immediately.
