Expressions of Interest - Crab

The Council of the Haida Nation, mandated to manage assets on behalf of the Haida Nation, is now accepting applications for the following commercial fishing opportunity.  Interested parties are required to contact the Haida Fisheries Program offices in Skidegate and Old Massett for further information and to request an application.

This licence will be for the 2026 fishing season and has the possibility of a multi-year agreement.

Shellfish

·       1 Crab (37’ 1”)

 DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Friday, September 26, 2025 at 4:00 pm

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Vessel must be registered to commercially fish DFO licenses and abide by all safety and licensing regulations.

After the closing date, the CHN may select an individual and enter into contract arrangements without further public notice.  CHN may choose not to allocate the licence and/or quota.
